THE LABYRINTH (1986) stars David Bowie, Jennifer Connelly, Toby Froud, Shelley Thompson, Christopher Malcolm, and last but never least, David Bowie's pants.
The basic premise is that Sarah feels like she's always being left at home, forced to babysit her baby brother and it's just not fair. She calls on the Goblin King to take her baby brother away. Too late, she realizes that she really doesn't want her brother gone, and she pleads with the Goblin King to give him back. He makes a deal with her instead: if she can make it to the castle at the center of the Labyrinth before midnight, she can have her baby brother back. If not, he becomes a goblin.
BOM BOM BOM!
I think that The Labyrinth is one of the greatest movies ever made. The kids and I absolutely love it and we watch it often. The characters are adorable and funny and... it's just magical, pure and simple. It's not just for kids at all - I'm *mumblemumble* years old and it's still as magical to me now as it was the first time I saw it.
Give it a watch - you won't be sorry!

I just… love… "Labyrinth" more than words can express. It was one of my favorites as a kid, and it permeated my imagination.
Totally not just for kids. :D
other than the distraction of David Bowie's crotch, which was not so pertinent when I was young,it was just as magical as it's ever been. :3no subject
