 OK guys and babes, I thought you might enjoy this shot. It was posted on Ray's Weather as the photo of the day yesterday. 

"Jesse Pope sends this photo."Monday was one of the clearest days I've ever seen on Grandfather! It started with a near perfect look at Charlotte." Thanks!" was the quote under the pic. From Grandfather Mountain all the way to Charlotte. It just boggles my mind!

Awesome picture! My parents visited Grandfather Mountain back before I was even thought of. They still talk about it to this day.

Isn't it just gorgeous!? I love that you can see all the way to Charlotte - it just boggles my mind! I haven't been to Grandfather in years - not since I was a Girl Scout - which is really sad since I'm so close to it. I'll never forget that mile high bridge though - scared me spitless!

BTW, I checked your user info and saw that we have a couple of mutual friends. I'd like to add you to my friends list if that's ok =)

I heard about that bridge! There is a picture of my brother acting like a fool on it somewhere. lol I really should go visit since it would only be a few hours drive.

I'm afraid of heights so that bridge is not my friend at all! I remember that they forced me to go across it and some of the girls ahead of me on the bridge started jumping up and down and trying to sway it. =S I just knew that the bridge was going to fall! It really is a beautiful place to visit though - you should totally take a trip to visit when you can =)
